EA Sports FC 25 release date and one week early access period confirmed
The Ultimate Edition of the game will give players seven days of early access
EA Sports has confirmed the release date for EA Sports FC 25.
The game will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on September 27, 2024.
Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of the game will get a week of early access to EA Sports FC 25. EA Play members will also get a 10-hour early access trial starting on September 20.
Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham is the cover athlete for this year’s standard edition of the game. On the Ultimate Edition cover he is joined by Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmatí, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Gianluigi Buffon.
EA has also announced several new modes featured in this year’s series entry, including Rush, which sees players competing in 5vs5 games. This mode, which will feature across Kick-Off, Ultimate Team and Clubs, will replace Volta.
EA has also announced changes to Ultimate Team, such as the inclusion of a duplicate storage solution for duplicate items, as well as more Evolution items, which can now be customised.
Live Start Points will be introduced into career mode too. This will allow players to play through a season mode starting on the week of their choosing. For example, should a dramatic event happen at the end of January, players can start there, continuing using real-world stats and results from the previous months.
Career mode will also feature women’s football for the first time, with several of the top women’s leagues and the UEFA Women’s Champion’s League all licensed.
