EA FC 24 Ultimate Team servers down: EA servers down during Weekend League
The outage has yet to be acknowledged by EA
EA Sports FC 24‘s servers are currently down.
The outage, which has yet to be acknowledged by EA, comes in the middle of the Weekend League, EA FC’s competitive mode, with many players complaining they’ve been disconnected during a match.
It’s currently unclear if players will be compensated for lost matches. Due to the Weekend League only allowing for 20 matches to be played, and coupled with the fact that if a player disconnects from a game, it counts as a loss, this will likely cause a massive disruption to the popular mode.
VGC has reached out to EA for comment and will update this story should we hear anything, or should EA acknowledge it.
PlayStation players have also reported being told that they are not connected to PSN, and that this is the cause of the issue, however, they are able to access the PlayStation Store and other online games without issue.
Downdetector has also registered a massive spike in people reporting issues with the game, suggesting the outage is widespread.
“EA Sports FC 24 isn’t the huge departure that we’d hoped for,” VGC’s review of the game concluded. “While Ultimate Team devotees will likely be happy, the rest of the game feels like an afterthought in the transition away from the FIFA license.”
