Dying Light 2’s first story DLC has been delayed again
Bloody Ties will now arrive in November, a month later than previously planned
Techland has delayed the release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s first story DLC for the second time.
Having originally targeted a June launch for the game’s Bloody Ties expansion before pushing its release to mid-October, the DLC will now hit PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles in November.
“We have taken the decision to postpone the launch of Bloody Ties until November 10th, to allow the team extra time to polish and squash bugs,” Techland explained.
The studio also said it plans to reveal more about the DLC this Friday via a developer Q&A on Discord.
“In Bloody Ties, players will embark on a new story adventure, you will reach the epicentre of death, wealth and absolute splendour in a stunning location; The Carnage Hall,” reads an official description of the DLC.
“This old opera building is full of challenges and quests, surprising new weapon types, character interactions, and discoveries to uncover.”
Players who pre-order the DLC will get access to the Aristocrat Pack, which includes an exclusive weapon and outfit.
The DLC was officially revealed last month, following a Dying Light 2 datamine which suggested the title’s first major expansion could be gladiator themed.
Prior to Dying Light 2’s release in February, Techland said it intended to support the open-world zombie sequel with at least five years of post-launch content.
