Dreams is adding VR support in July
Users will be able to create and share their own virtual reality games
Media Molecule will launch virtual reality support for Dreams on July 22.
It will be made available via a free update which enables users to create and share their own virtual reality games, Media Molecule communications manager Abbie Heppe told the PlayStation Blog.
PS4 game creation platform Dreams released in Early Access form in April 2019 before officially launching in February 2020.
Creative director Mark Healey told VGC earlier this year that VR support and enabling players to make multiplayer online games were the Dreams community’s most requested features.

Media Molecule co-founder Healey also said he’d like to see the best community creations released as standalone games on the PlayStation Store.
Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment recently released a trial version of Dreams. The free demo allows players to experience a selection of community creations and play a slice of the Art’s Dream story mode, among other features.
Sony said in January that PlayStation VR sales have topped five million units since the headset launched in October 2016.
