Doom Eternal gets a new master level and Xbox Game Pass PC release date
Latest title update also includes multiple improvements and fixes
Doom Eternal will join Xbox Game Pass for PC on December 3.
The Id Software shooter previously joined Xbox Game Pass for console in October.
Today’s Game Pass PC announcement coincides with the release of a Doom Eternal title update which includes a new master level.
Remixing a Doom Eternal campaign stage with new environmental hazards and conditions, the Super Gore Nest master level is a new combat experience designed to offer players a challenge beyond anything encountered in the base game.
Players can unlock rewards including player icons, nameplates and cosmetics by completing the master level in different difficulties and modes.
Today’s update also includes an assortment of improvements and fixes for all platforms, which are detailed here.
Doom Eternal will release digitally for Nintendo Switch on December 8, Bethesda announced on Monday.
The Switch port was developed in partnership with Panic Button, the studio behind the Switch versions of Doom (2016), Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Xbox Game Pass recently teased the addition of a mystery game in December.
UPDATE: Microsoft has detailed the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Android including Control, Call of the Sea, Greedfall, Haven, Rage 2, and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair.
