Doom 64 trailer shows off the Doom Eternal pre-order bonus
Classic game will be re-released next year alongside the latest entry in the series
Bethesda has released the official announcement trailer for the upcoming Doom 64 re-release.
Originally released exclusively for Nintendo 64 in 1997, the game will be available as a Doom Eternal pre-order bonus.
It will launch as a free digital download for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, alongside Doom Eternal for the same platforms on March 20, 2020.
It will also be included free with pre-orders of Doom Eternal for Nintendo Switch, which is set to be released at a later date.
“Fight through demonic hordes, hunt down the Mother of Demons, and stop Hell’s invasion as you battle through more than 30 action-packed levels,” reads the official Doom 64 blurb. “Be on the lookout for classic weapons and secrets to help you put an end to the demonic threat.”
Bethesda recently delayed Doom Eternal by four months in order to “live up to” the studio’s “standards of speed and polish”.

Doom Eternal is available to pre-order at Amazon, Best Buy and Game, among other retailers.
Bethesda will release a new Fallout software collection for PC called Fallout Legacy in the UK and Germany this Friday, October 25.
