Doom 64 coming to Switch alongside Doom Eternal

Doom 64 is to be released for Nintendo Switch on November 22.

The game, which was recently rated for multiple platforms in Australia and Europe, was announced for Switch during a Nintendo Direct live stream on Wednesday.

“For the first time since its original release in 1997, Doom 64 will be officially available on a Nintendo console,” said Pete Hines, SVP of global marketing and communications at publisher Bethesda. “Relive your crusade against the demons in more than 30 action-packed levels.”

Bethesda declined to comment on whether Doom 64 will be a Switch exclusive when contacted by VGC on Thursday.

The latest Doom instalment, Doom Eternal, will also release on November 22, 2019 for Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Stadia.
