DokeV is a ‘gorgeous and lively’ Pokemon-style open-world game
Colourful online game revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live
South Korean developer Pearl Abyss unveiled its “gorgeous and lively” Pokémon-style MMO DokeV during Gamescom Opening Night Live on Wednesday.
The creature-collecting open world action-adventure has players seeking out Dokebi, “whimsical creatures that live side-by-side with humans and encourage people’s dreams from which they gain strength.”
Founded in 2010, Pearl Abyss is a South Korean developer known for the Black Desert MMORPG franchise.
“The gorgeous and colourful world of DokeV is brimming with activities, stories, and experiences, so get ready to befriend tons of Dokebi, embark on an adventure, and rock the world,” said the game’s developer.
According to Pearl Abyss, the footage shown in its debut gameplay trailer is “actual in-game”.
