Division 2 is coming to Stadia this month with cross-play
Warlords of New York expansion also released for consoles and PC
Ubisoft will release The Division 2 for Stadia on March 17.
The PC and Stadia versions of the game will support cross-play, with players required to link their Uplay and Stadia accounts to use the feature.
Cross-progression will also be supported, enabling users to take their progression from one platform to the other.
The game’s latest expansion, Warlords of New York, will launch for Stadia on March 17 too, having released this Tuesday for PC and consoles.
Announced last month, “narrative-driven expansion” Warlords of New York sees players return to the first game’s New York City on the hunt for rogue agent Aaron Keener.
After completing the Warlords of New York campaign, players will be able to fast travel freely between Washington DC and NYC.
Along with Warlords of New York, the game’s latest title update includes an RPG overhaul, allowing players to read and manage their gear inventory more easily, according to Ubisoft.
The expansion also introduces a new post-launch initiative called Seasons: a three-month-long themed endgame event with a new main target and his network to track down, each with their own stories and unique rewards. The first Season begins on March 10.
