Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Toy Story update will also add Stitch and NPC outfits

Next week’s major update for Disney Dreamlight Valley will add Stitch to the game, as well as new outfits for NPCs.

It was previously announced that the update would be released on December 6 and would include Toy Story content.

However, a new image posted on the game’s official Twitter account shows some of the extra content set to be introduced over the course of the next update.

Most notable of this is Stitch, the fan favourite Disney character from the 2002 movie Lilo & Stitch.

The image also shows Mickey Mouse in a top hat, and a Merlin in a Santa costume.

This is particularly notable because up to this point the player is only able to customise their own character, whereas all the Disney NPC villagers wear their standard outfits.

The new image appears to suggest that either NPCs will now have limited-time themed outfits to match the season, or that the player could even get the option to collect and change NPC outfits.

The new update will be called Missions in Uncharted Space, a reference to one of the Buzz Lightyear toy’s prerecorded voice clips in the original Toy Story movie.

As previously announced, the main addition to the next update is a new Toy Story realm, which will join the existing Moana, Frozen, Wall-E and Ratatouille realms found in the game’s castle. This realm is set in Bonnie’s Room from Toy Story 4.

The new update will arrive on December 6.
