Disney Dreamlight Valley: Extra Fizzy Root Beer recipe
How to make Extra Fizzy Root Beer in Scar’s story quest
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Extra Fizzy Root Beer quest may confuse some players, because the game doesn’t explain it very well.
Root Beer is one of the new recipes added to the game, but Extra Fizzy Root Beer is a special type of Root Beer that’s needed to clear one of Scar’s quests in the game.
The problem is, the game confuses this by telling you to mix it with Crackling Candies, even though that stage comes later.
If you want to know how to make Extra Fizzy Root Beer, we’ll explain it here.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to make Extra Fizzy Root Beer
First, you need to think back to when you found the ingredients at the camp inside the Vitalys Mines, the same place where you found the recipe.
Along with the recipe you should have also picked up some Crackling Candies and a piece of dried ginger.
The confusing thing is that the recipe is for normal Root Beer, which is made with ginger, sugarcane and vanilla. If you make this in the game, the Extra Fizzy Root Beer quest won’t be ticked off.
Instead, what the game doesn’t tell you is that you need to use the dried ginger you found in the mine, instead of normal ginger.
So, the recipe for Extra Fizzy Root Beer is – dried ginger, sugarcane, vanilla.
Once you make this, you’ll never need to make it again, and it isn’t even listed in the Meals in your Collection. That’s because the dried ginger you got in the mine is the only dried ginger you’ll find in the game (it isn’t listed under Ingredients either).
If you’re wondering where the crackling candies come into it, once you’ve made the Extra Fizzy Root Beer you have to head to the red explosive barrel in Vitalys Mines and add the Extra Fizzy Root Beer and the Crackling Candies to the barrel, to make it explode.
