Diablo 4 is coming to Steam this month
Blizzard recently said it plans to make “a selection” of its games available on Valve’s store
Diablo 4 will be released on Steam this month, Blizzard has announced.
The news was revealed during a Diablo 4 developer live stream on Wednesday.
Players can wishlist Diablo 4 on Steam ahead of its release on October 17.
Released in June for PC, Xbox and PlayStation consoles, Diablo 4 is the World of Warcraft studio’s fastest-selling title to date, according to its publisher.
Activision Blizzard said in July that over 10 million players “experienced” Diablo 4 during its launch month.
Blizzard announced in July that it planned to make “a selection” of its PC games available on Steam.
The first Blizzard title to launch on Valve’s digital marketplace was the free-to-play team-based hero shooter Overwatch 2, which was released in August.
Steam players need to connect to a Battle.Net account in order to play the game, as is the case on all platforms, which Blizzard said enables features like cross-play.
Blizzard announced on Tuesday that Warcraft Rumble will hit iOS and Android devices on November 3, 2023.
Its launch will coincide with the opening of BlizzCon, which is returning to the Anaheim Convention Center in California for what will be the convention’s first in-person event since 2019.
