Diablo 4 developer explains how and where to find the six rarest Unique items
There are six of these exceptionally rare items in the game
One of the lead developers on Diablo 4 has shed more light on how and where to get the six rarest Unique items in the game.
Lead class designer Adam Jackson took to Twitter to explain the Unique items in more detail, and clarify the conditions required to find them.
The six items in question are:
- Doombringer (unique sword)
- The Grandfather (unique two-handed sword)
- Ring of Starless Skies (unique ring)
- Andariel’s Visage (unique helm)
- Harlequin Crest (unique helm)
- Melted Heart of Selig (unique amulet)
According to Jackson, each item can drop from enemies who are level 85 or higher.
There isn’t a particular location to find each of them – they can all be found anywhere normal Uniques can drop.
Jackson says you can tell if it’s one of the rarest ones because it’ll gave 820 item power, but also stressed that “they’re realllly rare”, meaning the odds of finding them are still exceptionally slim.
Diablo 4 was released on June 6, with early access available from June 1. The six items are so rare that one of them, the Harlequin Crest, wasn’t found until June 10, more than a week after early access started.
Blizzard recently claimed that Diablo 4 is its fastest-selling game ever, earning more than $666 million in sales in its first five days.
VGC’s 5-star Diablo 4 review said the game sees Blizzard back on top form.
“Diablo 4’s always-online requirement is a shame, and a few of the classes are somewhat slow to kick into high gear,” we wrote.
“But we’re only able to muster minor complaints for what is easily a game-of-the-year frontrunner, and Blizzard’s best game since Diablo 3.”
