Devolver delays Baby Steps, Stick It To The Stickman and Skate Story
The release dates for three Devolver Digital games have slipped to 2025
Devolver Digital has delayed Baby Steps, Stick It To The Stickman and Skate Story.
Most recently scheduled to be released this year, the games will now launch in 2025.
The delays were confirmed in a mock awards show, ‘The 15th Annual Devolver Delayed Awards 2024’, which is viewable below.
PC games Stick It To The Stickman and Skate Story were also included in last August’s ‘Devolver Delayed Showcase’, which saw them delayed from 2023 to 2024.
“Stick it to the Stickman is a groin-kicking, staple-gunning, chainsaw-wielding roguelike brawler loaded with high-impact, physics-based combat, copious amounts of coffee and weaponised farts,” according to an official description on Devolver’s website.
The publisher says of Skate story: “Ollie, kickflip, and grind your way through the ash and smoke of the Underworld as you take on a seemingly impossible quest. Skate fast to destroy demons and save other tortured souls on your journey from fragile beginner to a hardened skater.”
PC and PS5 game Baby Steps sees players step into the shoes of “Nate, an unemployed failson with nothing going for him, until one day he discovers a power he never knew he had… putting one foot in front of the other”.
