Devil May Cry 5 ships 2 million copies, Capcom claims
Publisher says action series has now sold more then 19 million units
Devil May Cry 5 shipments have exceeded two million units globally, according to publisher Capcom.
The company claims the critically acclaimed action game achieved the milestone in less than two weeks, having released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 8.
Capcom says the franchise has now sold more than 19 million units since it debuted in 2001.
The first mainline series entry to be released in over ten years, Devil May Cry 5 is primarily a single-player title, but it introduces a Cameo multiplayer system that enables online players to make guest appearances in each other’s games, either in real time, or through ghost data gameplay recordings.
