December’s PlayStation Plus games have been revealed ahead of schedule

December’s PlayStation Plus games have leaked ahead of Sony’s official announcement.

According to Dealabs user Billbill-Kun–who correctly leaked the PS Plus line-ups for September, October and November, plus December’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles–next month’s PS Plus games will be:

  • Godfall Challenger Edition (PS5 / PS4)
  • Mortal Shell (PS4)
  • Lego DC Super-Villains (PS4)

Godfall Challenger Edition appears to be a new edition of the game that has yet to be officially announced.



In August. Sony indicated that it wasn’t concerned about a recent decline in PlayStation Plus subscribers and monthly active users.

In the company’s Q1 financial results, which cover the three months ended June 30, Sony reported total PS Plus subscribers of 46.3 million, which was up 1.3 million year-on-year but down by over one million compared to the two previous quarters.

According to eight years of data collated by Resetera, it was the first time PlayStation Plus users had significantly dipped between quarters during this time period.

Sony’s chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki blamed the decline on last year’s stay-at-home restrictions and the increase they had on game activity.

PlayStation Plus subscribers rose by almost one million during Q2, to 47.2 million, Sony said in October.
