December’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are now available to claim
Including Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Biomutant and Divine Knockout
December 2022’s first wave of PlayStation Plus games are now available for subscribers to add to their library.
Confirming an earlier leak, Sony recently announced that December’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PS4), Biomutant (PS5/PS4) and Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition (PS5/PS4).
BioWare’s three-game Mass Effect remaster collection was released for PS4, Xbox One and PC in May 2021. It features enhanced visuals, gameplay improvements, over 40 pieces of DLC and a modernised version of the original game, among other features.
Developed by THQ Nordic studio Experiment 101, Biomutant was also released in May 2021 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It’s billed as “an open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG, with a unique martial art styled combat system allowing you to mix melee, shooting, and mutant ability action”.
Developed by Red Beard Games and published by Hi-Rez Studios, Divine Knockout was released today for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles. “KO the gods in the world’s only 3rd-person platform fighter,” an official product description reads. “Become a small-but-mighty god of myth, brawl in all three dimensions, and knock your friends off the map to reign supreme.”
PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim December’s Essential games until January 2.
December’s Game Catalog line-up for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will be announced later this month.
