December’s first PlayStation Plus Classics games have been released
Sly 2, Sly 3 and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy have joined PlayStation Plus
December’s first additions to the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog have been released.
PS2 games Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy are now available for PlayStation Plus Premium members to claim.
Sony has yet to announce all of December’s additions to the Classics Catalog, or this month’s new Game Catalog titles.
This first wave of Classics games were revealed earlier this month alongside December’s PlayStation Plus Essential games, which are also live.
It Takes Two (PS4, PS5), Aliens: Dark Descent (PS4, PS5) and Temtem (PS5) are available to claim until January 6, after which they’ll be replaced by a new set of titles.
Sony Group shares hit a record closing high in Japan on Tuesday, thanks to growing optimism for its PlayStation business and other entertainment units.
The stock has been on the rise since last month when Sony reported strong results for its second quarter, driven by profit growth in its game segment.
Sony expects the PlayStation business to generate record operating income for its current fiscal year ending in March 2025, partly due to strong sales of third-party games and PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
