Death Stranding PC will release on both Steam and Epic Games Store

The PC version of Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding will release simultaneously on Steam and the Epic Games Store, publisher 505 has announced.

Death Stranding PC will release in Summer 2020 and is available to pre-order now on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Death Stranding was announced for PC in October, with publisher 505 Games stating that it was “honoured” to be working on the title.

“We are extremely excited and honored to be working with the supremely talented team at Kojima Productions and to bring Death Stranding to PC gamers around the world,” said 505 Games co-founder and CEO Raffi Galante in a statement.

“Death Stranding will take gamers through a completely original experience that will delight PC gamers everywhere.”

Death Stranding is out now for PlayStation 4. It’s available to purchase from retailers including Best Buy, Walmart, ShopTo and Game.

VGC analysis has revealed that of the some 120 core developers who worked on the game at Kojima Productions, more than half also worked on Kojima’s final Konami title, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Virtually all of Death Stranding’s lead design and art positions came from former Metal Gear staff, with most newcomers working in programming positions.
