Death Stranding has a new release date for iPhone and Mac
The game will arrive on Apple platforms next week
Death Stranding Director’s Cut has received a new release date for iPhone and Mac.
Originally scheduled to hit Apple devices last year prior to a delay, the game will now be released on January 30.
It will be compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPads and Macs with the M1 chip or later.
While the game will normally be priced at $34.99 / £34.99, it’s currently discounted by 50% for pre-order customers.
Kojima Productions announced its support for Apple platforms during the iPhone maker’s Worldwide Developers Conference last June.
“This is just the beginning, and we are actively working to bring our future titles to Apple platforms,” said Hideo Kojima.
While the Metal Gear creator didn’t elaborate, Kojima Productions is officially working on Death Stranding 2 for PS5 and horror game OD with Xbox Game Studios.
Earlier today, a highly reliable dataminer seemingly leaked the full title of the Death Stranding sequel.
They claim the game is called Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach, and that a new reveal for the title is planned within the next 15 days.
Kojima Productions announced last month that it has teamed up with A24 to bring a live-action film adaptation of Death Stranding to the big screen.
