Cyberpunk 2077’s latest video shows it running on consoles for the first time
CD Projekt Red’s 10-minute video switches between Xbox One X and Xbox Series X
CD Projekt Red has debuted the first footage of Cyberpunk 2077 running on consoles.
A new 10-minute video switches between Xbox One X and Xbox Series X gameplay, which is shown running via the console’s backwards compatibility feature.
A PlayStation gameplay video is also planned for release, CD Projekt said, with a specific date set to be revealed in the near future via the game’s official channels.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release on December 10 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia. The game will also be playable on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles via backwards compatibility.
At a later date, a “proper, full-blown next-gen version” of Cyberpunk 2077 will be released, available for free to owners of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.
CD Projekt has previously said that current-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 will look better on next-gen consoles on day one, while a more significant next-gen release will improve performance further in 2021.
