Cyberpunk 2077 and more announced for Google Stadia
Latest games revealed for cloud gaming platform
Google has announced that CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Bethesda‘s Elder Scrolls Online will launch on its Stadia cloud gaming platform.
During its latest Stadia Connect live stream on Monday, the company also confirmed Ubisoft titles Gods and Monsters and Watch Dogs Legion, THQ Nordic‘s Darksiders Genesis and Destroy All Humans, plus Orcs Must Die 3, Samurai Showdon and WindJammers 2 will also launch for Stadia.
Google Stadia will launch in November 2019 with over 30 games available to purchase on day one.
Launch games include Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the latest Tomb Raider titles, Doom Eternal, Destiny 2, The Division 2, Mortal Kombat and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.
To access Stadia this year, users will need to buy the $129/£119 Founder’s Edition, which will include a Chromecast Ultra, a limited edition controller and a three-month Stadia Pro subscription.
At launch, a $9.99 / £8.99 monthly Pro subscription will also be required, with games that are not included in the Stadia Pro library requiring separate purchase. A free service will launch in 2020.
The company recommends an internet speed of at least 10 mbps for a bottom line “720p experience” on Stadia.
