Cyberpunk 2077 is now Steam Deck verified
The Steam Verified tag refers to games tested by Valve to perform well
Cyberpunk 2077 is now Steam Deck verified, CD Projekt has announced.
“Can’t get enough of Night City? Wish you could take it with you, wherever you go? Well now you can, because #Cyberpunk2077 has been Verified for #Steam Deck Compatibility,” wrote the developer on the CyberpunkGame twitter account.
While Valve‘s handheld allows for non-verified games to be played on it, the “Verified” tag denotes a game that has been tested by Valve to work with the device.
Cyberpunk 2077 will receive an expansion, Phantom Liberty, that’s being billed as the largest ever produced by the developer.
The expansion will star acclaimed actor Idris Elba as Solomon Reed, an FIA Agent for the New United States of America.
It was previously announced that Sasha Grey will also star in the DLC. She will voice Ash, a radio DJ on the in-game station 89.7 Growl FM.
The expansion will also see the return of Johnny Silverhand, the character played by Keanu Reeves, alongside a new cast of characters.
