CrossfireX trailer reveals Remedy’s single player campaign
Xbox timed exclusive shooter releasing in 2020
Microsoft has released the debut trailer for CrossfireX’s campaign, which is being developed by Control and Alan Wake studio Remedy.
Announced at E3 2019, CrossfireX is a free-to-play shooter featuring two mercenary corporations called the Black List and Global Risk.
According to the official blurb accompanying the trailer, the campaign is “an immersive and cinematic single player experience” centred around a global conflict raging between the two factions.
The online component of the tactical shooter is in development at Smilegate Entertainment.
CrossfireX is scheduled to launch for Xbox consoles later this year and is expected to come to PlayStation consoles at a later date.
An Xbox One CrossfireX beta was held in June, giving participants early access to several maps and modes featured in the online game.
