Code Vein gets September release date
Bandai Namco’s M-rated action RPG coming to consoles and PC
Square Enix has announced that Code Vein will be released on September 27, 2019.
Promising a dark vampire-themed storyline, the M-rated action RPG will be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Players take control of a vampire called a Revenant, who has no memories of their past.
Revenants can give up their memories in exchange for Gifts, special power-ups that increase strength, weaken enemies or give magical attacks.
It’s up to you to team up with other AI characters and try to rediscover your past before you become one of the Lost, a bunch of mindless ghouls who wander the Earth in search of blood.
Bandai Namco held a network test in late May to give players a chance to try out the game’s online multiplayer.
While the main storyline can be played in full with AI companions, you can also request to summon another player to join your game and accompany you on your quest.
