CD Projekt announced Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition earlier this month. Bundling the base game with its Phantom Liberty expansion, it will be released digitally and physically in select markets for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
Having sold three million copies in the first week following its late September release, CD Projekt said this week that the game’s first and only expansion had cleared 4.3 million sales in its first two months.
In September, Cyberpunk 2077 game director Gabe Amatangelo said the studio wasn’t planning any more major updates for the title as it was switching its attention to other projects, including the game’s sequel, which is now entering development at CD Projekt’s North America studios.
