Capcom says Dragon’s Dogma 2 has sold 2.5 million units
The RPG series has now surpassed 10m sales
Dragon’s Dogma 2 sales have surpassed 2.5 million units, ten days after its March 22 release date, Capcom has said.
The update means that sales of the Dragon’s Dogma series have now surpassed 10 million units cumulatively, it said.
VGC’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 review called it “one of the best RPGs of the last decade”.
“Dragon’s Dogma 2 is so dense that you can literally get to the end of the game, fulfil the majority of the main quest objectives, and then realise there’s a whole faction, town, or multi-part mission you’ve missed,” we wrote. “Dragon’s Dogma 2 is begging you to explore.”
It was revealed last month that Capcom was Metacritic’s highest-rated publisher in 2023, based on the quality of its releases last year.
