Call of the Sea hits Xbox consoles, PC and Game Pass in December

Call of the Sea will be released on December 8, 2020, publisher Raw Fury has announced.

The first-person puzzle game will be available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam, GOG.com and the Microsoft Store.

The game’s price has yet to be confirmed. It will also be available with Xbox Game Pass for consoles and PC at launch.

The debut title from Madrid, Spain-based studio Out of the Blue Games, Call of the Sea was revealed in May during the first Xbox Series X gameplay showcase.

The non-violent adventure game is inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s stories and voiced by BAFTA-winning actress Cissy Jones (Firewatch, Life Is Strange, The Walking Dead).

“An otherworldly tale of self-discovery and mystery set in the 1930’s, Call of the Sea is a love letter to the adventure genre about one woman’s search for her missing husband in the uncharted reaches of the South Pacific,” reads a press release accompanying today’s launch date announcement.

“On a lush island paradise, you will unearth the remnants of a lost civilisation, investigate clues, and solve a variety of clever puzzles to piece together the fate of your husband’s expedition.”
