Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 starts on June 3

Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare’s Season 4 will start on June 3.

Activision announced the start date alongside a new trailer on Wednesday, confirming campaign star Captain Price as the season’s flagship operator.

As pointed out by Modern Warzone, the video also features two new weapons – the Galil and Vector – as well as the Modern Warfare 2 map Scrapyard.

To conclude the current season, this weekend Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass tier progression will be activated for all Modern Warfare players including Warzone.

Warzone began teasing a Cold War theme this week when players were finally able to unlock bunker doors which had been present in the game map since launch.

Players later discovered how to use in-game phone messages to unlock a secret 11th bunker, which features scenery evocative of the Black Ops series including a war room, a number countdown, and a nuclear warhead.

It’s understood that the next Call of Duty game will be called Black Ops Cold War and eventually be unveiled via a Warzone meta-game. The reveal will likely coincide with an aesthetic reboot of the free-to-play game’s map.
