Call of Duty Warzone has a new PS5 and Xbox Series X|S texture pack
The latest visual upgrade is recommended for 1440p and above displays
Activision has released a new high-resolution texture pack for Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
The texture pack, which weighs in at just under 7GB on consoles, is available for Xbox, PlayStation and PC. It’s recommended for 1440p displays and above, and thus is only useful for those playing on Xbox One X, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 Pro and PlayStation 5 consoles.
This is the fifth texture pack released for Call of Duty Warzone so far. Previous packs improved the visual detail for guns and character models featured in the shooter.
Earlier this month Raven Software released Call of Duty Warzone Season 4, which added 120hz support for PlayStation 5. The feature, which was already available for the Xbox Series X version of the game, requires HDMI 2.1.

In April, Warzone’s creative director Amos Hodge told attendees at an invite-only press event that Raven was working on a full new-gen version of the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but did not confirm any details.
The new-gen version of the game could include dedicated field of view (FOV) options similar to the PC version, Amos said, but no timing schedule was shared.
This week Raven launched a new Warzone update which nerfs the MG 82 light machine gun.
The LMG was introduced in Warzone’s Season 4 update on June 17 and fans very quickly identified it as an incredibly powerful option. Raven flagged the popular weapon for a stats reduction just 24 hours after it was added to the battle royale game.
