Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Season 1 start date and roadmap have been revealed
Nuketown ’84, Gunfight, plus new maps, modes and weapons
Activision has revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 will begin on December 10.
Prior to that, multiplayer map Nuketown ’84 will be released on November 24.
Activision recently announced that Black Ops Cold War will be integrated into Warzone this December alongside the launch of Season 1 of Treyarch’s game.

In a newly published roadmap, the publisher said Season 1 will include Gunfight 2v2 mode, more multiplayer maps and modes, new weapons, fresh Zombies modes and a classified Warzone experience.
Warzone, which has been downloaded over 80 million times, will support both 2019’s Modern Warfare and the upcoming Black Ops Cold War.
On Thursday Activision published a blog showcasing “the many ways you’ll be able to share content, level up, utilize weaponry and equipment, and interact across all three titles” beginning on November 13 when Black Ops Cold War releases.
Earlier this week it was revealed how much storage space Black Ops Cold War will require at launch. The game’s initial file size is 95GB on PS4, 93GB on Xbox One, 133GB on PS5, and 136GB on Xbox Series X/S.
VGC understands that a large, Cold War-themed Warzone map revamp is scheduled to happen in 2021.
