Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Perseus Briefing cinematic trailer released

Players will follow the trail of the Russian spy in the upcoming shooter

Activision has released a new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War cinematic trailer.

The cut-scene features a briefing on Perseus, the Russian spy players will follow the trail of in the gameโ€™s campaign, which is being developed by Raven Software.

Activision held the full reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in Warzone on Wednesday, with a live event that had players tracking down protagonist Frank Woods.

Cold War is described as โ€œthe direct sequel to the originalโ€ Black Ops and is set for release on PC, current and next-gen consoles on November 13.

โ€œAs elite operatives, you will follow the trail of a shadowy figure named Perseus who is on a mission to destabilize the global balance of power and change the course of history,โ€ Activisionโ€™s blurb reads.

โ€œDescend into the dark center of this global conspiracy alongside iconic characters Woods, Mason and Hudson and a new cast of operatives attempting to stop a plot decades in the making.โ€

Black Ops Cold War will retail for $70 on next-gen consoles, the publisher has confirmed.
