Cal battles the Second Sister in new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order trailer

“He’s searching for something, something very precious to the Empire”

Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

The third-person action-adventure game is being directed by former God of War 3 creative director Stig Asmussen, with a narrative created by Aaron Contreras (Mafia III) and Chris Avellone (Knight of the Old Republic 2).

It sees players take on the role of young Padawan Cal Kestis, who is played by Shameless and Gotham actor Cameron Monaghan.

As he attempts to complete his training and master the art of the lightsaber, he’s pursued by chief villain the Second Sister, one of the Empire’s elite Inquisitors, and the Purge Troopers, special Imperial forces trained to seek out Jedi.

“He’s searching for something, something very precious to the Empire,” the Second Sister says in the new trailer, which is titled ‘Cal’s Mission’.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has a release date of November 15, 2019 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The game is available to pre-order from retailers including Amazon, Best Buy and Game, among others.

To coincide with the release of the new trailer, Microsoft has announced new Xbox One X ($499/£449.99) and Xbox One S ($299/£249.99) Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order console bundles.
