Borderlands 3 officially announced with trailer

Gearbox Software has officially announced Borderlands 3 during a PAX East event.

It’s also released the debut trailer for the long-rumoured co-op loot shooter, which you can watch below.

The trailer showcases numerous protagonists, enemies, and worlds players will be able to explore when the title’s released. It also promises over one billion guns — including one with legs.

There was no news concerning a release date or target platforms, but Gearbox promised to reveal further information about the game on Wednesday April 3.

Gearbox has also announced that a remastered version of the original Borderlands is set for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 3. Titled Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, it promises to deliver improved character models, environments, weapons and textures, alongside new content in the form of fresh weapons and loot.
