The deck-building hack and slash adventure, which was released in 2018 by developer and publisher Thing Trunk, is free to claim until March 25.
Currently priced at $24.99 / £19.99 on other PC marketplaces like Steam and Epic Games Store, it has a score of 72 on review aggregation site Metacritic.
“Book of Demons is a Hack & Slash Deck-building hybrid in which YOU decide the length of quests,” according to its description on GOG.
“Wield magic cards instead of weapons and slay the armies of darkness in the dungeons below the Old Cathedral. Save the terror-stricken Paperverse from the clutches of the Archdemon himself!”
Sega and Obsidian‘s critically acclaimed 2010 action RPG Alpha Protocol was released on GOG this week, making it available digitally for the first time in five years.
GOG also announced this week that it has partnered with Amazon Luna to make its DRM-free titles playable on the cloud gaming service.
Metroidvania Islets, from developer Kyle Thompson and publisher Armor Games Studios, will be free to claim from the Epic Games Store from March 28 to April 4.
It will replace open world fishing game Call of the Wild: The Angler and comic book superhero title Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, which are currently free to claim until March 21.
