Bleeding Edge release date seemingly leaked by Microsoft

Update: launch date for Ninja Theory’s online brawler announced at X019

Microsoft has seemingly leaked the Bleeding Edge release date ahead of an official announcement expected at tonight’s X019 event in London.

The Bleeding Edge release date will be March 24, 2020, according to a since removed product page on Microsoft’s website.

Original story continues: Players who pre-order Ninja Theory’s 4v4 online brawler or play it with Xbox Game Pass will also receive access to closed beta tests beginning on February 14 and March 13.

Pre-order customers and players who play with Xbox Game Pass during the title’s launch week will also get the following exclusive content pack:

Microsoft announced that it had acquired Heavenly Sword and Enslaved developer Ninja Theory at E3 2018, while Bleeding Edge was revealed at E3 2019.

The platform holder has said that 12 Xbox Game Studios titles will be on show at X019 on Thursday night, including new first-party game reveals, brand new Game Pass titles and “big” Project xCloud news.

British developer Rare will reportedly be among the first-party studios to announce a new game at X019.

A special X019 Inside Xbox live stream is set to air tonight at 8pm UK / 12pm PT / 3pm ET and you’ll be able to watch it live on VGC.
