Blair Witch coming to PS4 in December
While new content for all platforms focuses on canine companion Bullet
First-person psychological horror game Blair Witch will be released for PS4 on December 3.
Developed by Layers of Fear studio Bloober Team in partnership with Lionsgate Games, the title features an original story inspired by iconic horror film The Blair Witch Project.
It sees players take on the role of Ellis, a former police officer who has joined the search for a missing boy in the haunted Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland, accompanied by his canine companion Bullet.
The game will initially be available digitally priced at €29.99 on the PlayStation Store, and later via physical retail versions.
Blair Witch was released for Xbox One (including Game Pass) and PC on August 30.
The first Blair Witch gameplay trailer included a look at exploration, combat and environmental interaction, including the role of Bullet, who can be issued with various commands like seeking out and digging up areas of interest.
Bloober Team has also announced new content for all versions of the game in the form of the Good Boy Pack.
It will include “new dog skins; new in-game cellphone games, wallpapers, and content; and new animations for Bullet – making him even more realistic”.
