Black Ops Cold War’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S file size is 135GB at launch
Reduced PC file size also announced alongside current-gen storage requirements and pre-loading details
Activision has confirmed how much storage space Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will require at launch.
The game’s initial file size is 95GB on PS4, 93GB on Xbox One, 133GB on PS5, and 136GB on Xbox Series X/S.
Activision has also revealed a reduced PC file size for the game. Having recently said it would require up to 250GB of storage space at launch, the PC file size is now listed as 82GB for the full game, 125GB for the full game on ultra graphics, and 35GB for multiplayer only.
Console and PC players can opt to uninstall specific modes such as campaign or Zombies to reduce the file size.
PS5 will reportedly have 664GB of internal SSD storage for games, while Xbox Series X will offer around 800GB of internal storage for software. It’s been claimed that Xbox Series S will have just 364GB of storage space for games.
Black Ops Cold War will be released for PC, current and next-gen consoles on November 13.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions will be available to pre-load from November 5 at 9pm PT/November 6 at 5am UK.
PC pre-loading will begin on November 10 at 10am PT/6pm UK, while next-gen pre-loading will be available when the console’s launch next week.
