Black Ops Cold War’s Nuketown ’84 map shown in official videos and Easter egg leak
The latest version of the popular map will be added to the game on November 24
Treyarch has released new Nuketown ’84 details and footage ahead of the map’s arrival in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War tomorrow.
“This version of Nuketown, Nuketown 84, is actually a sister site to the original Nuketown,” creative specialist Miles Leslie said of the latest version of the map, which has featured in every Black Ops title to date.
Activision published the official Nuketown trailer above ahead of the map’s release on November 24.

An Easter egg for Nuketown ’84 has also been uncovered by Reddit user PimpOutMyPC (via Eurogamer), who claimed to have glitched into a custom game in order to access the map.
It involves shooting the heads off all the mannequins, which transforms the look and feel of the map, as you can see in the video below.

The game launched on November 13 and recently received its first major post-release patch.
Black Ops Cold War Season 1 will launch on December 10. It will include Gunfight 2v2 mode, more multiplayer maps and modes, new weapons, fresh Zombies modes and a classified Warzone experience.
“Despite its enjoyable campaign, Black Ops Cold War feels like an anachronistic package,” reads VGC’s 3/5 Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War review. “The era of one game containing three completely disparate modes feels so long ago in the age of Warzone.”
