Black Ops 6 will launch with 16 new multiplayer maps and two new Zombies maps
New details revealed ahead of a dedicated showcase on Sunday
New details about Call of Duty Black Ops 6’s multiplayer and Zombies modes have been confirmed.
At launch, Black Ops 6 will have 16 multiplayer maps, including 12 core 6v6 maps and four Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 will also feature the return of round-based Zombies, with two brand-new maps available at launch.
New multiplayer and Zombies maps will be released as part of the game’s post-launch content plan.
Details on the game’s modes were revealed when Xbox and PlayStation Store listings for the game were updated ahead of a Black Ops 6 Direct presentation on Sunday.
The Black Ops 6 release date is October 25, 2024.

The game will be released for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC, with Cross-Gen and Vault editions available at launch.
As a first-party Microsoft title, Black Ops 6 will also be available on Game Pass for Xbox consoles and PC at launch.
However, the content available to Game Pass subscribers will vary depending on their membership tier.
Activision has also confirmed that Black Ops 6 will require users to have a persistent internet connection in order to play the game.
This applies to Black Ops 6’s campaign, as well as to its online multiplayer and Zombies modes.
