Bethesda’s Ghostwire: Tokyo is the latest free game available on the Epic Games Store.

From Japanese developer Tango Gameworks, the title is now free to claim until December 25 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm GMT, when it will be replaced by another mystery giveaway.

VGC’s Ghostwire: Tokyo review called it a “memorable, but flawed action-horror game.”

“At times it feels like the game’s incredible art direction, music and visual style deserve a game that’s better mechanically,” the review stated, “but when it all comes together, Ghostwire Tokyo is one of the more memorable recent games in the triple-A space, if you can ignore its gameplay stumbles.”

After a year of PlayStation 5 exclusivity, Ghostwire: Tokyo arrived on Xbox consoles and Game Pass earlier this year alongside a new major update called Spider’s Thread.

The Epic Games Store, which usually gives away one or two free titles each week, will reportedly offer 17 free games over the Christmas period.

It’s ongoing Holiday Sale also includes major discounts on some of this year’s biggest games, including Alan Wake 2 for $27 / £21.50, EA Sports FC 24 for $19 / £16, Hogwarts Legacy for $24 / £20, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage for $23 / £21.

GOG is giving away five free games as part of its Winter Sale too. Caveblazers is currently free to claim until December 25 at 2pm UTC.

Steam’s Winter Sale launched on Thursday and includes “huge savings on 1,000s of games”, according to Valve.
