Battlefield 5 War in the Pacific reveal scheduled for Wednesday
DICE teases the official trailer for the new season of content
DICE will reveal Battlefield V’s War in the Pacific season of content on Wednesday.
Update, October 23: Battlefield V Chapter 5: War in the Pacific will launch on October 31, introducing new maps, weapons, vehicles and more.
Original story continues: It was previously announced that Chapter 5: War in the Pacific would introduce three new maps, including a modern take on Iwo Jima, and at least seven fresh weapons and gadgets before the end of the year. It will also add new factions (the US and Japan) and vehicles, including boats.
However, given feature delays and cancellations during Battlefield V’s Chapter 4: Defying the Odds season of content, DICE’s roadmap may have changed somewhat.

DICE provided an early look at Chapter 5’s development during an EA Play event in June. This week’s reveal will be viewable via the trailer below when it goes live on Wednesday.
DICE general manager Oskar Gabrielson recently apologised to a community of players “frustrated and disappointed with the experience across” Battlefield V Chapter 4: Defying the Odds, which introduced a number of game issues the studio has been working to address ever since.
“I hope the work we’ve put into Battlefront II is a testament to our long-term commitment to our games and our communities,” he said in August. “We’ll get Battlefield V back on track and make it the awesome game you all deserve.”
Publisher EA will hold the third of three Battlefield V free weekend trials for PC beginning on Thursday October 24.
