Battlefield 2042 PC requirements revealed ahead of October’s beta
Players will be able to test the game early next month
DICE has revealed the minimum and recommended PC specifications for Battlefield 2042 beta participants.
Publisher EA announced on Tuesday that the delayed Battlefield 2042 beta will run from October 8-10 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
EA Play members and pre-order customers can gain early access beginning on October 6, with pre-loading available to all players from October 5.
Following the announcement, developer DICE confirmed the PC specifications needed to take part.

The Battlefield 2042 beta will include the Conquest game mode on the Orbital map showcased in the title’s reveal trailer, which sees players battling for control of a rocket launch site in Kourou, French Guiana.
In mid-September, EA delayed Battlefield 2042’s release date from October 22 to November 19 due to “unforeseen challenges” caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
