Batman Arkham Knight DLC ‘now free via Epic Games store too’
Season pass reportedly added to free Batman games offer
The Epic Games store has reportedly released free Batman Arkham Collection DLC, after the trilogy was made available to users at no cost without any add-on packs included.
The Epic Games store has been giving away six free Batman games since last Thursday including the Batman Arkham Collection, which bundles Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight.
According to Game Watcher, the promotion didn’t include the Batman Arkham Knight DLC at launch, but the game’s season pass has now been made available to all Epic Games store users free of charge.
UPDATE: Arkham Origins developer WB Games has also teased a new Batman Arkham game on Monday.
It includes story expansion Batgirl: A Matter of Family, short story episodes Harley Quinn, Red Hood, Nightwing: GCPD Lockdown, Catwoman’s Revenge and Robin: Flip of a Coin, plus new quests, skins and racetracks.
The original Lego Batman and its two direct sequels are also available to download as part of the current Epic Games store promotion.
Epic originally launched a bi-monthly free game offer alongside its PC storefront in December 2018, but said in mid-May that it was increasing the frequency of the offer to one free game per week until the end of 2019.
It has confirmed that the next free games on the Epic Games store will be Metro 2033 Redux and Everything, beginning on September 26.
