August 2021’s PlayStation Plus games have been confirmed
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2, and Hunter’s Arena: Legends
August 2021’s PlayStation Plus games have been revealed.
The upcoming additions were confirmed on the official PlayStation website—perhaps ahead of schedule—rather than in a PlayStation Blog announcement, as is usually the case.
August’s PlayStation Plus games are Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville (PS4), Tennis World Tour 2 (PS4) and Hunter’s Arena: Legends (PS5 version only). They’ll be available to download from August 3.
UPDATE 28/07/21: Sony said today that Hunter’s Arena is coming to PlayStation Plus for both PS4 and PS5. August’s games will be available for subscribers to add to their library until September 6.
ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES: July’s PlayStation Plus games are A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5 version only), Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (PS4) and WWE 2K Battlegrounds (PS4). They are available to download until August 2.
PlayStation Plus subscribers totalled 47.6 million as of March 31, 2021, according to Sony.
July 2021’s PlayStation Now games include Red Dead Redemption 2, Judgment, God of War, Nioh 2, Moving Out, Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and Nascar Heat 5.
Sony launched its PlayStation Store Summer Sale on Wednesday, featuring savings on thousands of games, according to the firm.
Of note, four of Sony’s first-party PS5 games are discounted. They are Demon’s Souls, Returnal, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure (the last two are also available on PS4).
Other popular titles featured in the sale include Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, FIFA 21, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Hitman 3.
