Arrowhead is staffing up after Helldivers 2 success to ‘beef up’ its content plans
The studio wants to “accelerate” the rollout of new content for the co-op shooter
Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Game Studios has said it’s planning to staff up in response to the success of the title.
Studio CEO and game director Johan Pilestedt said the company wants to recruit more developers to “beef up” its content plans for the Sony-published shooter, which is available for PS5 and PC.
Since its release last week, the co-op game has attracted over 200,000 concurrent players on Steam alone, making it Sony’s biggest PC launch to date.
“With the success of Helldivers 2, we are going to start looking for more amazing developers that can help us accelerate and beef up our content plans,” Pilestedt said.
“Jobs will be going up soon, but if you are a senior dev there’s always the “open application”. Enlist today with Arrowhead Game Studios.”
Sweden-based Arrowhead currently employs over 100 people, according to its website.
