Arkham Origins studio continues to tease new Batman game
WB Games Montreal posts teaser images across social media
WB Games Montreal, developer of 2013’s Batman Arkham Origins, has again teased the unveiling of a new game in the series.
Across its various social media channels, the developer has posted pieces of an image that when combined form a sigil. The images are accompanied by the text, “Capture the Knight.”
The latest round of teases follow a similar campaign in September 2019. Ultimately those posts were followed by silence, which might suggest the developer’s plans were delayed.
The September posts were shared – and later deleted – by Batman comics writer Scott Snyder, who suggested they were related to the Court of Owls storyline.

The Court of Owls story, created by Snyder, features a secret society which kidnaps child performers from the circus and trains them into assassins, known as Talons.
The Court of Owls’ Talon assassin was featured as a playable character in 2018’s Lego DC Super-Villains.
WB Games Montreal last released 2015’s Batgirl DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight. It hasn’t created a full game since 2013’s spin-off, Arkham Origins.
