April’s first PlayStation Plus game is Behaviour’s Meet Your Maker
The new IP from Dead By Daylight’s creator will launch on PS Plus day one
Meet Your Maker will come to PlayStation Plus on day one as part of April’s line-up for Sony‘s subscription service.
The post-apocalyptic first-person building game will be released on April 4, when it will also be claimable via PlayStation Plus.
The game, which sees players build and defend outposts against other users, will be available to Essential subscribers on both PS5 and PS4.
Meet Your Maker is also scheduled to release on PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on the same date.
Developed by Behaviour Interactive, which is best known for its asymmetrical horror game Dead By Daylight, Meet Your Maker is set in a sci-fi world in which players are tasked with harvesting a precious resource known as GenMat.
It features two distinct modes: outpost defence and raiding. Players build outposts and decorate them with hazards, traps, and other dangers for any enemy player that enters.
The goal is to build your outpost in such a way that means other players can’t reach the centre and claim the stash without being defeated.
Players who build challenging or enjoyable bases can receive commendations from players who attempt the outpost. Once live, a player can then refine their outpost based on how other players approach their creation.
Raiding sees players attempt to infiltrate player-made bases and extract the payload without dying. The raiding portion of the game can be played in either solo or co-op.
