April 2021’s PlayStation Plus games include Days Gone and Oddworld: Soulstorm
Zombie Army 4: Dead War will also be available to subscribers
Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed April 2021’s PlayStation Plus games.
They are the PS5 version of Oddworld: Soulstorm, plus PS4 games Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War.
All three titles will be available for subscribers to download between April 6 and May 3.
A “2.9D” platformer featuring destructible environments and new crafting gameplay, Oddworld: Soulstorm is described as a complete reboot of Abe’s Exoddus, the 1998 sequel to Abe’s Odyssey.
The game is coming to PlayStation Plus for PS5 users on the day of its release. It’s also set to hit PS4 and PC exclusively through the Epic Games Store on April 6.
Days Gone, Bend Studio’s take on the post apocalyptic zombie genre, originally released for PS4 in April 2019.
A PC version including support for ultra-wide monitors, an unlocked framerate and improved graphical detail will be released via Steam and the Epic Games Store this spring.
In VGC’s Days Gone review, our critic called the PS4 game “far from the worst specimen of its genre” but added: “in a year already packed with 50 hour+ endeavours, it rarely makes the case for its own existence”.
March’s PlayStation Plus games, which are available until April 5, include Final Fantasy VII Remake, Maquette, Remnant: From the Ashes and Farpoint VR.
