April 2021’s PlayStation Now games include Marvel’s Avengers and Borderlands 3
The Long Dark also available to subscribers
Sony has announced April 2021’s PlayStation Now games.
Marvel’s Avengers and Borderlands 3 will join the subscription service until July 5 and September 29, 2021, respectively.
Exploration-survival game The Long Dark will be a longer-term addition to PlayStation Now.
The new PlayStation Now games will be playable from Tuesday, April 6.
PlayStation Now’s software library includes over 700 PS2, PS3 and PS4 games streamable to PS5, PS4 or PC, and over 300 PS4 titles which can be downloaded and played on consoles.
Sony slashed PlayStation Now prices in October 2019 in a bid to be more competitive with rival streaming services. It also began adding “blockbuster” games each month, which are available for a limited time.
PlayStation Now had over 2.2 million subscribers as of April 2020, according to Sony – up from one million in October 2019.
March 2021’s PlayStation Now games were Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, World War Z, InFamous: Second Son and Superhot.
Sony recently confirmed that April 2021’s PlayStation Plus games are the PS5 version of Oddworld: Soulstorm, plus PS4 games Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War. They will be available from April 6 until May 3.
